The 2018 altE Solar Conference Puerto Rico will be held on March 22-23, at the Hyatt Place San Juan/City Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Our focus is on providing installers across Puerto Rico with the ability to see new products, receive hands-on training and meet the solar and renewable energy industry's leading vendors and manufacturers. There will be product training and design training for grid-tie, as well as off-grid and grid-tie with battery backup systems - as Energy Storage is the future!
This years event will be held at the Hyatt Place San Juan/City Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Hyatt Place San Juan/City Center is located in the heart of San Juan, just steps from the beach and a three-minute drive to historic Old San Juan. altE is pleased to invite you to our Solar Conference to be held March 22 and 23, 2018. This event will provide you the ability to see new products, receive hands-on training and meet the solar and renewable energy industry's leading vendors and manufacturers.
Conference Dates: Thursday, March 22 (Intro to Solar Seminar) and Friday, March 23, 2018 (Main Conference Event).
Registration: $99 per day. Intro to Solar (Thurs) is $99. Solar Conference (Friday) is $99. Each registration fee includes admission to the trade show and exhibit hall, all seminars and workshops, and all event breakfasts and lunches.
The 2018 altE Solar Conference Puerto Rico provides Installers an opportunity to see new products and talk directly with some of the industry's leading Vendors and Manufacturers in the Exhibit / Trade Show area. In addition, participants will receive valuable training in their breakout sessions and dedicated training sessions featuring product demonstrations and classroom training.

This session will provide participants with a working knowledge of MidNite Solar’s Rapid Shutdown system and how it satisfies the requirements of NEC Article 690.12. Topics to be covered include: The fundamentals of NEC Article 690.12 in both the 2014 and 2017 code revisions, Midnite's existing and upcoming Rapid Shutdown product lines, a discussion of Rapid Shutdown from a firefighter’s perspective, component and wiring considerations unique to various PV system configurations and wiring diagrams for those various system configurations.
