REEEP Announces Latin American Regional Sustainable Energy Policy Development Forum

The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) is establishing a Latin American Regional Sustainable Energy Policy Development Forum.

The development forum was officially launched at the Grid Connected Renewable Energy Policy Forum hosted by the Mexican Government.

The new project will build on the work of REEEP's Sustainable Energy Regulations Network by leveraging the outcomes of the Policy Forum by:
-assembling a comprehensive survey of regional sustainable energy policies
- identifying gaps and reform measures
- working with key stakeholders to develop results oriented strategies for critical reforms.

The initial round of policy surveys will include Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua.
