These units will be installed at various locations at the airport, which presently already uses several of Carmanah's aviation lights as part of its O'Hare Modernization Program.

The O'Hare Modernization Program is a massive airport expansion project that will reconfigure O'Hare's airfield into a more efficient and modern, parallel configuration, similar to airfields at Dallas Fort-Worth and Atlanta Hartsfield airports.
