Phil Layton of Maxwell Technologies to Present Two Poster Sessions at NSREC Next Week in Ponte Vedre

Phil Layton of Maxwell Technologies will be presenting two poster sessions at the Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Conference.

Who and What

At the Nuclear and Space Radiation Effects Conference next week, Phil Layton, radiation effects physicist at Maxwell Technologies will be presenting two poster sessions:
• "Compendia of Radiation Test Results of Integrated Circuit." This paper is a compendia of test data taken by Maxwell in support of the product guarantee of radiation performance.
• "SEL Induced Latent Damage, Testing, and Evaluation." This paper shows a methodology for evaluating Single Event Latchup (SEL), susceptible devices for latent damage that may cause reliability problems during a typical space mission. Maxwell provides mitigation technology for SEL and this paper shows that the two products 7805 and SDRAM that were evaluated, are not susceptible to latent damage and would continue to operate through a typical space mission even after multiple SEL events.
