Study by Humboldt University shows ICP delivers beyond expectations on stable rating performance
July 16th, 2006, Montreal, Canada. ICP Solar, a leading manufacturer of products based on advanced solar technology, today announced that its panels were the only ones amongst all amorphous off-grid modules recently tested by Humboldt University to deliver on labeled ratings.
The ICP Solar panels were compared side by side with amorphous modules made by a Chinese manufacturer and marketed under various brands in North America. Thanks to ICP's continuous product R&D, TS16949 certified process and its innovative proprietary manufacturing capacity; Humboldt's results showed that ICP Solar's panels delivered over twice the output of the competitive modules at stable power, despite having similar ratings on their packages and labels. After months of testing, ICP Solar's modules delivered stable ratings of 14.2Watts vs. label of 14Watts, thus proving our promise of over-delivering on expectations. Modules manufactured by the Chinese competitor delivered just over 6Watts despite carrying a "15Watt" label.

"The ICP Solar corporate governance dictates that we over-deliver on our promises to clients time and again," said Sass Peress, Chairman and CEO, ICP Solar. "These results simply replicate those which other labs have independently shown for over three years, and are similar to those that led certain modules to be banned in some countries worldwide. ICP Solar remains steadfast in its desire to continue to improve the performance of its product as validated by the continued improvement in our stable ratings. We only hope that others in the industry would join us in delivering consumers true-rated power so that they can all become converts to the solar cause rather than be detracted by the lack of delivery on promise." Mr. Peress added.

HPS EnduraCoilTM Cast Resin Medium Voltage Transformer
HPS EnduraCoil is a high-performance cast resin transformer designed for many demanding and diverse applications while minimizing both installation and maintenance costs. Coils are formed with mineral-filled epoxy, reinforced with fiberglass and cast to provide complete void-free resin impregnation throughout the entire insulation system. HPS EnduraCoil complies with the new NRCan 2019 and DOE 2016 efficiency regulations and is approved by both UL and CSA standards. It is also seismic qualified per IBC 2012/ASCE 7-10/CBC 2013. Cast resin transformers are self-extinguishing in the unlikely event of fire, environmentally friendly and offer greater resistance to short circuits. HPS also offers wide range of accessories for transformer protection and monitoring requirements.
