SolarWorks NJ Places In Philadelphia Business Journal's South Jersey Top 25 Competition

PHILADELPHIA, April 16, 2007 - The Philadelphia Business Journal has named SolarWorks NJ of Gloucester County as one of the 25 fastest growing companies in Southern New Jersey. The top 25 companies were chosen and ranked by researchers at Rowan University's Rohrer College of Business. This award recognizes the company's achievement in significantly increasing their revenue between 2004 and 2006.
SolarWorks NJ made the list based on its impressive growth during the determined time frame. According to Steve Masapollo, CEO, "The substantial growth of SolarWorks NJ is a direct result of providing our clients with a superior product at a great price. Each client gets personalized service before, during and after the sale. Our philosophy of creating excellent value for our clients has enabled our company to be successful."
All qualifying companies are based in one of the eight counties in South Jersey: Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem. Additionally, the companies must have a three-year sales history with an increase in fiscal 2006 and sales at or more than $75,000 in fiscal 2004.
"The South Jersey 25 is a great way to discover and track the progress of some of the region's fastest growing companies," said Bernard Dagenais, editor of the Philadelphia Business Journal. "These companies have impressive stories to tell and represent an essential part of a thriving economy. They translate to jobs, dollars and are led by some of the best entrepreneurs that South Jersey has to offer."
SolarWorks NJ will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Thursday, June 14 at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom in Collingswood, New Jersey and profiled in a Philadelphia Business Journal special supplement on June 15. Archer & Greiner, Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey and PNC Bank are co-sponsoring the program this year.
The Philadelphia Business Journal is the region's local business news source providing a weekly newspaper, daily web updates, and a series of events that bring people together. It is a part of American City Business Journals with 41 publications across the nation.
