The FLEXware Surge Protector is intended for grid-interactive applications and for geographical areas prone to electrical surges - the product helps to protect investments in OutBack systems by providing AC and DC protection on multiple circuits. The product was specially designed to complement OutBack FX Series Inverter/Charger applications and provides a high level of surge protection performance at a reasonable price. Its multiple mounting configurations allow the FLEXware Surge Protector to be incorporated into any OutBack system.
"The FLEXware Surge Protector is a value-packed solution that addresses a true customer need - it helps protect the FX Series Inverter/Charger's AC and DC connections against transient voltage surges," commented Bryan Thomas, Product Manager. The FLEXware Surge Protector will be available in early summer and carries the same warranty terms as the FX Series Inverter/Charger on which it is installed.
