Connectors Unlimited Inc. DBA DF Sales announced today that their rebate of over $75,000.00 was approved and they are ready to move into the installation of a 36KW system at their facility in San Jose CA. Juan Figueroa President for Connectors Unlimited Inc. states " We decided to install a solar electric power system on the roof of our facility due to the high price of electricity, our dependence on foreign oil and to help combat global warming" Connectors Unlimited Inc. owns a 19,000 sqf light industrial facility in San Jose, Mr. Figueroa says " We have done a lot of improvements on this building to make it more energy efficient and to help the environment. Our final improvement was the addition of the solar panels on our roof.
The solar power system consists of 172 Sharp 208 watt solar panels and 6 SMA inverters; the system was designed and will be installed by Renewable Power Solutions Inc. a local San Jose dealer and installer. The solar power system will be substituting 75% of the electricity used at this time and will save about 1230 tons of harmful greenhouse gasses. Mr. Radzinsky CEO for Renewable Power Solutions Inc. says " As a person who is very concern with the fragility of our planets natural resources it gives me tremendous pleasure to see a business such as Connectors Unlimited Inc. do what they do for the environment under the leadership of Mr. Figueroa.
