INDUSTRY RECOGNITION FOR ALL-ENERGY

All-Energy, the UK's largest renewable energy show receives an industry accolade.

All-Energy, the UK's largest renewable energy exhibition and conference, has been awarded runner-up spot in the ''Advocate Award' at the British Renewable Energy Awards.

The award is for the NGO, campaign, publication or association that has done most to enhance awareness of renewables in the public and/or key opinion formers.

"We were thrilled to be short-listed and then to win runner-up spot," says Judith Patten, project director of the annual trade show held near the end of each May in Aberdeen at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. "It is a real feather in the cap of an exhibition and conference to be considered so much a part and parcel of the industry it serves that it gains recognition in this way, we'd like to thank the Renewable Energy Association and the panel of judges for this accolade. We were pipped at the post by Renewable Energy Systems Ltd, whose low carbon head office, Beaufort Court in Hertfordshire, with its on-site wind turbine and other forms of renewable energy, is an exemplar of renewable energy technology, made available for training, educational and promotional purpose."

The 2008 All-Energy, the eighth in the annual series, held 21-22 May, attracted 4700 participants from 61 countries, 380+ exhibitors from a dozen countries and featured some 220 speakers from home and overseas during two packed days. The show is organised by Media Generation Events Ltd in partnership with Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. The 2009 show will be held in Aberdeen 20-21 May 2009. Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide - the ultimate solution for fast and easy installation of the rail-less RockIt racking system on composition shingle roofs. Smart Slide conforms to UL 441 and TAS 100 (A)-95 for wind and wind-driven rain, providing a super-strong watertight seal that is achieved through compression, in most cases without the need for additional sealant. The waterproofing sealant is embedded deep into the granules of the shingle, thanks to the integrated flexible foam layer that provides cushioning. This ensures a secure fit that conforms to any architectural-style shingle. With UltraGrip Technology™, you can rely on a secure installation, as it absorbs the movement created by thermal expansion and contraction. The pre-installed sealing pads are compatible with all composition shingle roofs, making it the ideal choice, even in ambient temperatures as low as 5 degrees.
