EnerWorks announced today three appointments which will further the company towards its goal of industry-leading customer service:

• Jay Raes - Training Manager
• Rob Singlehurst - Applications Engineering
• Kirk Hansen - Sales Manager, Eastern Canada

"EnerWorks prides itself on quality product and installation," says Tony Ali, VP Sales and Marketing. "With the goal of becoming the leader in the North American market, we have appointed Jay Raes, one of our most experienced employees, to the role of Training Manager. Jay's comprehensive program covers installation, product and sales training so will completely familiarize our channel partners with our integrated appliances and their installation."

Raes joined EnerWorks in 2005 and, after spending time in manufacturing, helped to build a solid network of dealers and distributors during his tenure as sales representative for eastern Canada. His expertise, broad product knowledge and account management skills led to his new role, developing and delivering the extensive EnerWorks training program to new and existing distributors and dealers.

Rob Singlehurst had previously managed and delivered EnerWorks training. This new appointment allows him, as a member of the Applications Engineering team, to focus on sizing and designing commercial-scale solar water heating systems using EnerWorks flat-plate solar collectors and turnkey Solar Energy Unit heat transfer equipment.

"Deep engineering competence and timely, easy-to-reach support are critical parts of the service we provide to our customers as they proceed with a wide variety of commercial opportunities," says Florin Plavosin, Director of Applications Engineering. "Rob's reassignment as Applications Engineer further strengthens our engineering team. He has a Masters degree in Renewable Energy with a specialization in solar thermal, and his credentials and expertise ensure that our systems are optimized for each application."
