The PV Professional Committee of Chinese Renewable Energy Society co-hosted by Euro-China Solar Promotion Association and Italian Photovoltaic Industry Association (GIFI) will held the“2009 International Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (IPVSEE)”this November 18-20 in Beijing.
The "2009 International Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (IPVSEE)" with the theme of "Promoting China's PV Industry and Focusing on New Energy Economy", will be ceremoniously held in the China International Trade Center in Beijing from November 18-20, 2009. Up to now, exhibitors from six countries and regions including Germany, Italy, India and Saudi Arabia have registered for participation. It is expected that around 1,000 domestic and foreign guests will be present this event
The IPVSEE 2009, which will be held by the PV Professional Committee of Chinese Renewable Energy Society and co-hosted by Euro-China Solar Promotion Association and Italian Photovoltaic Industry Association (GIFI), has received strong support from China National Development and Reform Commission, China's Ministry of Science and High Technology Development and Industrialization and International Solar Energy Society (ISES). The Global Link International Exhibition (Beijing) Co., Ltd. together with The China New Energy Network have been designated as the organizers of the conference. The IPVSEE aims to become China's most authoritative policy forum and technology exchange platform in the PV sector.
China's PV industry has a large worldwide market and the IPVSEE 2009 can exercise direct influence on the policymakers of China's PV industry, making it an ideal business platform for the exchange and cooperation among China's PV industry, the government and the public. What makes the IPVSEE 2009 different from other exhibitions is that outside the exhibition venue there is a Demonstration Zone for PV Industry Chain, which illustrates the complete industry chain of the PV sector from raw materials, PV cells and components to application system and installation project companies. The event also provides buying and selling information, so that PV companies can directly benefit from the platform.
The IPVSEE 2009 is organized to be a high-end conference with a special session called Market Policies and Future Trends in China's PV Industry, which will be attended by leaders from the supporting and host organizations as the China's Ministry of Science and High Technology Development and Industrialization, the China National Development and Reform Commission, and the energy authorities of the provinces (together with autonomous regions and municipalities). Apart from the latest trends in China's PV industry, the conference will also unveil next major projects and investment plans concerning the PV industry. The energy authorities of different places will organize officials to visit or participate in the conference, so the number of visitors and participants can be assured.
The organizers of the conference and exhibition intend to make the IPVSEE a worldwide famous event and an influential one in Asia. To achieve this goal, the organizers have made great efforts to carry out world wide promotion and in May 2009, they conducted intense promotion at "The 10th International Exhibition & Conference on Renewable Energy & Distributed Generation" held in Verona Italy and 2009 "Intersolar" in Munich Germany. After that, the IPVSEE was promoted at a number of conferences and exhibitions, including "The 3rd Renewable Energy India 2009 EXPO", "The 24th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition", "The 3rd International Exhibition & Conference for the Photovoltaic Industry in the Mediterranean Area", "The ISES Solar World Congress 2009" in Johannesburg South Africa, "The 4th International Exhibition Energy-Photovoltaic 2009" in Athens Greece, "The Solar Power International 09" in the U.S.A., "The 10th Solar Energy & Technologies Fair" in Turkey, "The 36th Pragotherm" in Prague Czech, and "The 2009 EnerSolar+" in Milan, Italy. The organizers also invited companies from Japan, Germany and Italy etc. to participate as exhibitor groups; these companies will bring to the conference and exhibition advanced technologies and useful experience concerning thin-film cells, energy-storage technology, BIPV and other PV technologies.
` In addition, many world-famous companies will release new products and technologies at the IPVSEE.
"The strong support from Chinese Renewable Energy Society and relevant government agencies has made the exhibition a great event for China's PV industry," said Global Link International Exhibition (Beijing) Co., Ltd. General Manager Sun Zhonglan, "at the professional business platform of the IPVSEE, exhibitors and professional visitors can have a face-to-face talk with the energy departments and relevant executive departments of the country."
China will take the lead in recovering from the financial crisis and will make this moment a great opportunity for China's PV industry to go global. At present, the registration for the conference and exhibition has kicked off and many famous PV companies at home and abroad have confirmed their attendance to conferences and participation in exhibitions.
