Arvada, CO August 19, 2010: SkyFuel, Inc., designer and provider of the award winning SkyTrough® parabolic trough for the Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) industry, is pleased to announce the promotion of Alison Mason to Director of Marketing Communications.

For the past two years, Alison served as Director of Marketing for SkyFuel's ReflecTech Division. ReflecTech's mirror film - the only one proven for long-term, outdoor use in solar concentrators - is used in SkyFuel's parabolic trough solar concentrator. During her time with ReflecTech, Alison worked in the same office as the SkyFuel R&D team, and had plenty of opportunity to observe and learn about the development of the SkyTrough® and other SkyFuel technologies. Her background in engineering, which includes research in Colorado State University's Solar Thermal program, allows her to participate in key aspects of SkyFuel's technology development in an especially meaningful way. Prior to working at SkyFuel, Alison ran her own solar consulting and photovoltaic installation business - SunJuice - in Northern Colorado.

As SkyFuel embarks on a new phase of growth, scaling up manufacturing processes to meet volume demand for the SkyTrough®, Alison's duties will include interaction with the media, industry, government, and academia to ensure that a clear and accurate picture of SkyFuel is widely communicated. "Alison has shown herself to be a valuable team player," said Rick LeBlanc, SkyFuel's President and CEO. "Her diverse skill set is a tangible asset to the business side of a technology company like SkyFuel."

Ms. Mason holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University and a B.S. in Materials Science and Environmental Engineering from Rice University. She is the Chairperson of the American Solar Energy Society's CSP Division, and LEED accredited by the U.S. Green Building Council.
