Dow Corning 1-2620 is the low viscosity conformal coating version of Dow Corning 1-2577. The Dow Corning 1-2620 low-VOC conformal coating is an abrasion resistant protective coating for solar cells and modules that can be used for module repair of abrasions, cuts and scratches.
Dow Corning 1-2620 features good dielectric properties, resistance to humidity and other harsh environments, excellent abrasion resistance and a firm, dry surface for better handling after cure. Additionally, the coating can be accelerated with mild heat to provide faster cure times, is VOC exempt solvent-borne and has a low viscosity. The DC 1-2620 conformal coating is a self priming, translucent liquid, one-part RTV silicone resin that cures to clear elastoplastic resin film ideally suited for solar applications.
