CPV World Map 2011 unveiled by PV Insider

Researchers at PV Insider have completed work on the CPV World Map 2011, as part of the launch of the 3rd Concentrated Photovoltaic Summit USA.

Hours of research has resulted in the general release of the CPV World Map 2011, which shows operational and pre-operational installations across five continents. The PDF gives detailed insight into the biggest geographical markets at present, including the USA, Australia, Spain and Taiwan, as well as listing the project size.

"It goes without saying that the CPV industry is making some fantastic progress, and the world map puts this into perspective," event organizer Matt Carr explained. The map will form a centrepiece for the 3rd Concentrated Photovoltaic Summit USA, taking place 14-15 November in San Jose. "At the conference itself, the map will be a unique reference point for presenters - with particular relevance to the CPV landmark case studies series," Carr added.

The map is free to download, and can be found here - www.pv-insider.com/cpv/map2011
