London, 9th January, 2012 – Redpoint Energy, the specialist energy consultancy, will outline scenarios for the Romanian Green Certificate Market at January's Wind Power Romania conference in Bucharest.
On the 17th January Phil Grant, director at Redpoint Energy, will explain the drivers for Green Certificate prices, how to quantify future price levels and examine uncertainties and risks.
Romania is a very promising market for renewables. Ernst & Young's Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Indices stated that Romania once again climbed the index, moving to 13th from 16th, following a US$266m (196m) loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and International Finance Corporation.
Grant said "It's clear that the Romanian wind power market is a hotbed for investment. I'm looking forward to speaking to fellow delegates about the potential Romania has to drive renewable energy growth. Of course, investment in this area is not without its risks and I will be discussing these in my presentation."
Wind Power Romania is the largest industry event dedicated to the growth of the Romanian wind industry. It takes place on 17th 18th January 2012 at the JW Marriott Hotel, Bucharest, Romania. Grant's presentation is at 13.30am on day one.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production
In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
