CSP Today announced this week that the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, World Bank and IREDA have been confirmed to participate at the 3rd CSP Today India Summit (14-15 March, Leela Kempinski Hotel, Gurgaon, Delhi).

The latest additions will discuss the impact that Phase I of India's National Solar Mission has had on future industry growth. As well as this, the latest fiscal incentives and government regulations that are aimed at furthering CSP development and building a local, cost effective supply chain will also be outlined.

The conference is now only four weeks away, bringing together leading experts from the global CSP industry and will tackle the greatest financial, technical and infrastructural challenges unique to this region.

Leading companies are already confirmed to attend to drill down into the challenges in developing large-scale CSP projects. One of the key talking points of the conference is the "Phase I NSM Developers panel" with participants from Reliance Power, Corporate Ispat Alloys, Aurum Ventures, Lanco and Godawari Power & Ispat. Delegates will also hear exclusive case studies on projects such as Ivanpah, Gemasolar, Solana and PS10 from Abengoa, Bechtel and Torresol Energy.

These additions follow last week's announcement that Siemens Energy will be sponsoring the conference. The international powerhouse will share their latest innovations in solar field equipment, including steam turbines and power blocks, automation and tracking control systems. Also joining Siemens are other leading CSP technology and service providers including Lauren CCL, Ingeteam, Skyfuel, Aalborg CSP and Tyco Flow Control.

Conference organizer Jack Ahearne at CSP Today said that "the industry in India has faced substantial challenges since Phase I projects were awarded. At CSP Today India 2012 we will bring together leading experts and overcome these roadblocks, to guarantee the future growth of Indian CSP for years to come".
