SAN JOSE, CA (April 23, 2012) — SunWize Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, welcomes Kevin Cunningham as its new chief financial officer (CFO). Cunningham will be responsible for controllership, accounting, treasury and all other financial functions at SunWize.
Cunningham brings a vast array of global financial experience to SunWize, including three years as chief financial officer for SunEdison, the world's fifth largest solar integrator. Cunningham also spent over 17 years with General Electric, serving in both CFO and financial planning and analysis (FP & A) roles for the corporation's Healthcare and Services division. During his tenure, that division of General Electric met its profit targets for 14 consecutive quarters.
Cunningham's educational background includes a finance degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a graduate of General Electric's Financial Management Program and INSEAD's International Executive Program (IEP). His professional affiliations include membership in Financial Executives International and the Solar Energy Industry Association Finance Council.
