Market and technology leader for distributed solar power optimization continues its successful growth
Hod Hasharon, Israel, May 21, 2012.
"In light of the strong demand, we expect to maintain our rapid growth", says Guy Sella, CEO and Chairman of SolarEdge. "We will reach the two million mark of shipped power optimizers by the end of 2012. SolarEdge is committed to the acceleration of the pace towards grid parity and to worldwide adoption of distributed electronics".
Photon-proven: Energy gains in all conditions
The demand for SolarEdge's products is increasing worldwide: with an annual growth of more than 200%, the company distributes its products to over 30 countries and on five continents. Throughout the world, tens of thousands of solar installations, ranging in power from kilowatts to megawatts, are optimized by SolarEdge products.
"Our services safeguard customer satisfaction all over the world", says Guy Sella. "Our customers enjoy high quality products and benefit from our local knowledge and technical support in all countries where we have sales activities."
By constantly tracking the maximum power point per individual module, SolarEdge DC-DC power optimizers ensure maximum energy yields. As tests of Photon magazine have shown, the yield is increased in all scenarios by up to 34%, compared to reference PV systems without SolarEdge power optimizers. In addition, SolarEdge power optimizers enhance system maintenance by monitoring the performance of each module and increase system safety for fire fighters and installers.
