PV Operations & Maintenance Guide unveiled by PV Insider

Researchers at PV Insider have completed work on the PV Operations and Maintenance Guide 2012, an online resource providing exclusive insight on how to optimize the operations and maintenance of utility scale PV plants.

Hours of research has resulted in the general release of this online resource (produced for the 3rd Utility Scale PV Plant Optimization Summit USA), which provides rare insight into the challenges and opportunities in PV O&M from experts working in this field. The guide includes presentations given by SunPower, EPRI and True South Renewables, plus an exclusive Q&A with experts at Sandia National Laboratories, Cupertino Electric, Solar Power Technologies and Draker.


Jack Ahearne at PV Insider said that the "Operations and Maintenance Guide 2012 will shed light on the methods currently used to optimize the economic performance of utility scale plants, as well as the key lessons that experts in the industry have learnt in both preventative and reactive O&M".
