GPTECH STRENGTHENS ITS POSITION IN UNITED STATES AFTER SOLAR POWER INTERNATIONAL

The number of North American companies that visit the stand grows----- Interest in the PVWD family of inverters and in the Advanced Power Integrated Stations

Madrid, 25th of September or 2012. GPtech has ended satisfied its participation at Solar Power International 2012, which took place in Orlando (Florida), from 11th to 13th of September. The company has strengthened its position in United States, where it has an important pipeline for the coming months. Solar Power is the most important event celebrated in North America for the solar industry professionals. Equipment manufacturers, developers, EPCs or suppliers meet there, so it means a big opportunity for the companies to show its possibilities.


GPtech exhibited its series of PVDW inverters, an upgrade of the PV series adapted to the requirements demanded by the US market. Its high efficiency and reliability, and its wide range of power factor, plus other features such as the possibility to inject reactive power at night with no extra devices, attracted the attention of the visitors. The number of North American companies that visited the stand grew with regard to previous editions, interested not only in the PVWD inverters, but also in the Advanced Power Integrated Stations (APIS), which make grid integration of PV facilities fast and easy. Numerous companies came to the GPtech booth to know in detail the internal operation of these exhibited equipments.

Additionally, several companies were interested in the Hybrid Generation Plants developed by GPtech for the "Ilumina" PV plant, in Puerto Rico. The company has been the first one in installing PV inverters in this island, which requests the most demanding grid requirements in the world.
