Solar Data Systems Launches Expansion of its Solar-Log Data Provider and Reporting Portfolio for State and Regional Agencies

The solar power performance data from these certified monitoring systems usually qualify for Solar Renewable Energy Certificates.

Bethel, CT - Solar Data Systems, Inc. has expanded its Solar-Log® Performance Data Provider (PDP) and Reporting portfolio to include solar PV installations that participate in incentive programs such as California Solar Initiative (CSI), New Jersey Solar Incentive, Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC), and Connecticut Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority (CEFIA). Program participants must purchase and install monitoring solutions from certified PDPs. The solar power performance data from these certified monitoring systems usually qualify for Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs) as well.

Solar Data Systems has developed customized Solar-Log® monitoring and metering solutions to meet the specific needs of the various reporting groups around the country. The company launched its Solar-Log® Revenue Grade Metering (RGM) in North America earlier this year. Since then it has been installed and is successfully reporting to regional incentive programs across the USA. Currently, Solar Data Systems is approved to report into the Production Tracking System (PTS) in Massachusetts, Performance Based Incentives (PBI) system in California, and Generation Attribute Tracking System (GATS) for DE, DC, IL, MD, NJ, OH, PA, VA and WV. Solar Data Systems is pending approval by the Connecticut Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority (CEFIA) and is investigating other states that are considering similar reporting programs.

"We are proud to be taking an active part of the expanding North American solar market with our worldwide market leading Solar-Log® monitoring solution. Solar-Log® lends itself seamlessly to delivering the best incentive reporting for each regional program. Our increasing investments into the design for customized solutions that help States to grow renewable energy production through financial incentives and investment, is testament to our commitment to the customers we serve," shared Anton Kaeslin, President of Solar Data Systems, Inc.
