Hareon Solar Announces Joint Development of Hareon AC Modules with SolarBridge Technologies

Hareon Solar partners with SolarBridge Technologies to Develop AC Solar Modules for North America and Australia

Shanghai, China May 09, 2013

Hareon Solar Technology Co. Ltd. (Hareon Solar), one of the largest, vertically integrated PV companies in the world, announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SolarBridge Technologies to jointly develop Hareon AC modules. Hareon plans to bring certified AC modules with integrated SolarBridge Pantheon II microinverters to markets in Australia and North America in the 2nd half of 2013.

Hareon AC modules will increase energy output by as much as 25% compared with DC systems, while cutting design and installation costs as much as 50%. A complete AC module solution from Hareon Solar will feature individual module-level monitoring through a multi-platform, web-based management system, providing installers total visibility into system performance. Paired with the Pantheon II – a 208V/240V auto-sense microinverter – the Hareon AC module will be suitable for single and three-phase installations.

With panel-integrated grounding and no high-voltage DC wiring, the Hareon AC module system will greatly increase system safety. A conventional PV system with central inverters can have rooftop DC voltages as high as 1000V. PV systems with Hareon AC modules will operate at each country's standard grid voltage.
