Morgan Thermal Ceramics announces that Steve Chernack, manager of applications engineering, has been chosen to give a presentation at the Coking & Cat Cracking Conference, May 6-10, 2013, in Galveston, Texas. Mr. Chernack will speak on ways to reduce overall maintenance costs and ensure that facilities run smoothly without undue revenue loss due to downtime. Mr. Chernack's talk, Five Tips for Achieving Furnace Lining Efficiency, will be on May9th at 3:30pm, on the FCC Track.

Morgan Thermal Ceramics announces that Steve Chernack, manager of applications engineering, has been chosen to give a presentation at the Coking & Cat Cracking Conference, May 6-10, 2013, in Galveston, Texas. Mr. Chernack will speak on ways to reduce overall maintenance costs and ensure that facilities run smoothly without undue revenue loss due to downtime. Mr. Chernack's talk, Five Tips for Achieving Furnace Lining Efficiency, will be on May9th at 3:30pm, on the FCC Track.
"An efficient furnace lining is key to reducing overall maintenance costs and ensuring that facilities run well without unnecessary revenue loss because of downtime," said Mr. Chernack. "I will be sharing some useful tips to keep furnace lining running efficiently." The tips range from technologies that will help evaluate furnace liner, to proper material choice, to ensuring proper installation.
Mr. Chernack is manager of applications engineering, with more than 30 years' experience in project engineering, heat transfer, and materials selection. He has a BS in Chemical Engineering. Mr. Chernack previously worked for KBR, in Houston, Texas, designing fired heaters for the petro-chemical/refining industries, and also worked in applications engineering for chemical processing industries with B&W.
