meeco Services Pakistan completes residential solar installation in Lahore

6.7 kWp rooftop installation to be upgraded to hybrid 13 kWh storage solution

Zug/Lahore. Following the rooftop installation at the Lahore University of Management Sciences

(LUMS), the subsidiary of The meeco Group, meeco Services Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd, has recently completed
a 6.72 kWp sun2liveTM residential solar photovoltaic installation in Lahore. Initially connected to the
national grid, the installation will be upgraded to feature energy storage with close to 15 kWh in the
coming months.

For this residential installation, top-tier solar components were used such as the 240 Wp BYD modules
in combination with meeco non-penetrating supporting structures produced locally and SMA Sunny
Boy inverters. Given the ideal local solar radiation values, the installation is expected to produce a
daily power output of 26.48 kWh and a minimum energy output of 9,650 kWh per year. In terms of
carbon footprint, this production represents yearly savings of more than 1000 kg of CO2.

Syed Saad Zafar, North Pakistan Sales Director for The meeco Group comments on this installation:
"Having a residential rooftop installation as this one is a necessary reference to build awareness and
trust in The meeco Group in Pakistan and demonstrate the direct impact it can have on people's lives."
"Thanks to the good production results reached until now, we will soon be adding a 2-hour storage
capacity using an ES 6K-0 Enersun inverter," adds Zafar.

In addition to its sun2liveTM small-to-medium scale energy generation and storage solutions, The
meeco Group sees great possibilities in the Pakistani market for its other services and solutions such
as the sun2flowTM water pumping solutions or the kinetic hydropower system in association with Smart
Hydro GmbH. "The Pakistani market holds a lot of potential for renewable energies and with our
solutions we are in a position to cover the most diverse off-grid and grid-connected power generation
needs of both private and commercial clients, and thus progressively help replace the use of diesel
generators in the country", says Mr. Trutschler, Sales Director of The meeco Group.

About The meeco Group: The meeco Group was consolidated in 2000 and oriented its main focus
towards the energy sector. With world headquarters located in Zug, Switzerland, the group currently
