fronius STRING INVERTERS FROM FRONIUS USA BEAT MICRO INVERTERS IN SERVICING, USE OF SPACE

Fronius IG, Fronius IG Plus V and Fronius IG Plus Advanced string inverters connect an array of multiple solar panels and can be mounted either indoors or outdoors.

Portage, Ind. (July 9, 2013) – Fronius string photovoltaic inverters available from Fronius USA are more effective than micro inverters for installers and integrators focused on optimizing both long-term servicing and use of space for customer PV systems. Fronius IG, Fronius IG Plus V and Fronius IG Plus Advanced string inverters connect an array of multiple solar panels and can be mounted either indoors or outdoors, thanks to a design feature where PV system wiring exits the bottom or rear of the inverter.

A micro inverter is always roof-mounted directly under the corresponding solar panel it serves. For inverter servicing, a panel must first be located and then disassembled by two technicians for safety reasons, according to U.S. Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA) rules. Conversely, Fronius IG, Fronius IG Plus V and Fronius IG Plus Advanced string inverters can be easily serviced where they are mounted, indoors or outdoors, by a single technician with one truck roll.

"Fronius string inverters are designed specifically for ease of installation, space savings and long-term servicing, which lowers costs for the system owner. Panel disassembly isn't necessary for inverter servicing, unlike micro inverters, which saves time and maximizes PV system energy yield." said Thomas Enzendorfer, Director of Marketing and Sales, Fronius USA.

Fronius IG Plus V string inverters are available in single-, two- and three-stage designs, from 3 kW to 12kW, making them perfect for both residential and commercial installations. Fronius IG Plus Advanced string inverters help installers meet the series arc fault protection requirements of the 2011 edition of the National Electrical Code®, and are available in single- and three-phase designs from 3 kW to 12kW. Fronius IG string inverters are available in six designs from 1.5 kW to 5.5 kW and are flexible enough to handle residential or high-performance installations.

RBI Solar - Dahlia Has You Covered

What if you could maximize the Ground Coverage Ratio (GCR) on your next project and not have to worry about the complicated variables that come with a tracker system? With a low tilt and clearance design, Dahlia® has the highest GCR of any fixed-tilt system in the marketplace. The system is available in three tilt options (7.5, 10 and 12.5 degrees) and designed to accommodate any sized PV module. The lightweight system is engineered with fewer components, several of which are shipped to job sites pre-assembled. This design feature reduces freight costs and rapidly trims the amount of on-site installation time required to complete construction. Maximizing PV coverage on a site can lead to an increase of production, which creates greater financial return for project owners. Over 100 MW of Dahlia® projects have been deployed across the United States, in regions of variable snow and wind loads. How much can Dahlia® cover and save you on your next project?
