Roof Tech Set to Unveil First U.S. Product Line at Intersolar Booth 7112

Unique PV Mounting Solutions Designed in Japan

NOVATO, Calif. – For the first time ever, the U.S. market will be introduced to a unique line of photovoltaic mounting systems designed and developed by Roof Tech®, a subsidiary of Japan's leader in roofing technology. Roof Tech will debut its products at Intersolar North America Booth 7112 from July 9th to 11th at Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Mounting Systems Designed Exclusively for Residential Solar Installations
Roof Tech offers three signature products designed specifically for installation of residential solar power systems. Unlike traditional PV mounting systems, Roof Tech products embody a design esthetic that is both pleasing to the eye and environmentally responsible. The product line includes:

- Roof Tech [E] Mount® is the compact, elegant mounting bracket that attaches anywhere on roof decking. All parts are shipped in one box complete with butyl rubber flashing, renowned for its watertight performance and durability.
- Roof Tech [E] Rail® is a more conventional racking system long established as one of the best-selling mounting systems in Japan. [E] Rail features hand-adjustable metal fittings and stands up to the most extreme weather conditions.
- Roof Tech U set Solar® is a unique frame design patented in the U.S., Japan, and other countries. Roof Tech is now offering exclusive partnership opportunities to PV manufacturers who adapt their products to the U set Solar design.

Roof Tech Among First U.S. Companies to Pass ASTM 2140 Test for Mounting Systems
Roof Tech utilizes a unique flashing method that adheres PV module brackets to roofing using butyl rubber tape. In June 2013, Roof Tech became one of the first and only companies in the U.S. to pass the rigorous ASTM 2140 test of its flashing method. The ASTM 2140 test measures water penetration through solar PV panels installed on metal and composition shingle roofing. All three of Roof Tech's products - Roof Tech [E] Mount®, Roof Tech [E] Rail®, and Roof Tech U set Solar® - were subjected to six hours of continuous static water pressure and passed the test with zero water leakage.
