Rueil-Malmaison, July 16, 2013 ó The Solar Business of Schneider Electric, a global leader in solutions

for the solar power conversion chain, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a major multi-year
Service contract for a total of 42 MW PV power plants in Bulgaria.

This decision is the logical step taken by our customer to secure its investment after selecting Schneider Electric
as the electrical equipment provider for its PV plants. Schneider Electric's inverters, array boxes, DC combiner
boxes, PV Boxes, transformers, MV and grid boxes are seamlessly interconnected under supervision from
Conext Control, the plant monitoring and control system.

Superior energy generation is ensured through full, real-time visibility of the performance of the various PV
plants located in the country, accessible both by the investors and by Schneider Electric maintenance teams.
Conext Control delivers data uniquely reliable, accurate and comprehensive on one screen, under the complete
Hypervision solution.

Thanks to the combination of local country service capabilities and the accumulated experience of its global
solar team, Schneider Electric has trained the service staff and established local stock of spare parts in record
time. The team in charge of operation and maintenance can continuously monitor and anticipate the
performance of the equipment, optimize the execution of all service activities through better planning of parts
availability and, ultimately, maximize energy production.

Schneider Electric is already operating hundreds of MW of PV Plants worldwide under similar schemes,
supporting customers in Europe and North America, but also in Thailand or India, to improve the bankability and
return of their projects.

"Schneider Electric can offer peace of mind and superior return on investment to customers in the photovoltaic
field thanks to the combination of our integrated PV equipment, our best-in-class monitoring and control system
and our local dedicated service teams", says Mr Laurent Bataille, SVP of the Solar Business of Schneider
