Array Technologies Announces 39 MWs of DuraRack™ in Indiana

Three sites total largest ground-mount DuraRack™ deployment to date

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., July 30, 2013 -- Array Technologies has been awarded a three-site, 39 MWdc (28.6 MWac) project in Marion County, Indiana, making it the largest single deployment of fixed ground-mount DuraRack™ systems to date. Constructed by international engineering and project management company, AMEC, the electricity generated by the systems will be utilized by Indianapolis Power and Light under a 15-year power-purchasing agreement.


The custom-tilt DuraRack™ system is one of several ground-mount solutions offered by Array Technologies, the global leader in solar tracking and racking systems. Engineered specifically for each customer, Array Technologies offers both trackers and fixed rack systems to suit the needs of any project.

With its ability to maximize ground coverage, the DuraRack™ system is durably designed to withstand extreme temperatures, high-wind and heavy snow events. Using fewer fasteners per kW, Array Technologies' proprietary universal mounting clamps drastically reduce installation time for faster deployment, reducing costs while maximizing the return for investors.

Located on 155 acres of land southeast of Indianapolis, two of the DuraRack™ systems are currently under construction. A third site situated on 134 acres southeast of the state capital has also broken ground. All are slated for completion in late 2013.
