Danfoss MLX inverter series – The ultimate distributed inverter for cost optimizing medium- to large-scale PV systems

The MLX marks a completely new solution for distributed PV plants. Neither a string inverter nor a central inverter, it combines the best of both worlds and represents a novel approach to system setup. A truly international solution, the MLX is designed for medium- to large-scale commercial applications in multi-region grids and climates. Built to optimize output, an MLX-based solution is scalable, reliable, and simple to replicate across markets.

Easy to install - wherever

Compact and lightweight, the MLX delivers high yields and has no need for an inverter pad. The MLX can quickly be mounted directly on to PV-array racks. Designed for multi-region grids with 3-phase 208 Vac, 400 Vac, or 480 Vac grids of 50/60Hz, the MLX is ideal for multi-region installation. With an open communication interface based on industrial standards, the MLX is Sunspec Alliance compliant and easy to integrate into control and monitoring systems.

Supreme inverter efficiency

Optimized for 1000Voc DC layouts and with the need for DC-boosting eliminated, efficiency of over 98% is available. Three power sizes, 30, 45, and 60 kVA, will be available, and, depending on PV module architecture, the MLX-60 can handle up to 16 PV strings via an external string combiner.

Reduced total cost of ownership

The MLX is designed to offer a lean service model. Intelligent inverter monitoring enables easy and efficient troubleshooting. As with string inverters, the compact MLX allows for simple exchange-and-return service, eliminating the need for a maintenance contract. Standard off the shelf components and pre-built solutions can be used with the MLX. With the high-efficiency MLX in your system, you get the ultimate cost optimized inverter solution.

STI Norland - First dual-row tracker in the market

Developed in 2017, the STI-H250™ is consists of two linked torsion beams that rotate simultaneously following the sun's path. They are moved by just one motor, cutting supply and maintenance costs. STI-H250™ dual-row tracker includes backtracking mode to avoid shadowing between adjacent rows and stow function to protect the tracker in extreme wind conditions. For cleaning, vehicles can pass between trackers and each row can be placed in a different position.
