Join the REA to celebrate your renewable energy success stories
This year's British Renewable Energy Awards Gala Dinner will take place at The Savoy Hotel on London's Strand, which won five awards in 2013 for its commitment to reducing its environmental impact . The Savoy estimates it has reduced energy consumption by 30% and greenhouse gas emissions by 3,000 tonnes per year. The Hotel has also managed to achieve its target of zero waste to landfill, partly through the recycling of food waste into biogas and used cooking oil into biodiesel.
On the evening of Thursday 12th June, guests will enjoy drinks in the River Room overlooking the Thames followed by a four course dinner in the famous Lancaster Ballroom. More importantly, guests will celebrate the best of the best in UK renewables and share stories of how green power, heating and fuels are bringing jobs, growth and sustainability to the UK economy.
Nominations are open now for the 2014 Awards . This is a chance for renewable energy businesses to celebrate their successes and those of their colleagues and customers. Now in their ninth year, the Awards include two brand new categories this year, as well as 10 firm favourites. It only takes two minutes to nominate your company, colleagues or customers.
