PowerWind Ltd. announces its success in securing another new order for a wind turbine to be built in BLAENCILGOED, Wales. The turbine is a joint venture between Infinite Renewables and Albion Community Power Plc who have already invested in a number of wind projects together. This turbine will have a capacity of 500 kilowatts (kW) and a rotor diameter of 56 meters, the machine meets the legal, technical and economic requirements for the feed-in-tariffs. This is the second turbine that PowerWind has supplied to Albion and Infinite following a previous order for a PW500 in 2012.

"We have always been fully convinced of the PW500 performance and are happy that this product has returned to the UK market. Its robustness and high performance is convincing" says William David, director of Infinite Renewables.

Marco Yu, Investment Manager of Albion Ventures, goes on to say: "Our plan is to repeat the success of previous collaborations with Infinite Renewables in the development of another PowerWind turbine in the UK".
