Klein® Tools Adds New Demolition Driver Models

Engineered, manufactured and tested for prying, chiseling and punching.

July 16, 2014 (Lincolnshire, IL) – Klein Tools (http://www.kleintools.com), for professionals since 1857, announced the release of two additions to their popular demolition series of hand tools. Made in the USA, demolition drivers are designed to take a beating and deliver a beating. Klein now offers demolition versions of the #2 Phillips (SKU 603-4DD) screwdriver and Punch-Scratch Awl (SKU 650-DD).

Both feature a plated metal strike cap that protects the handle from hammer blows. The traditional Cushion-Grip handle provides greater torque and comfort.

"Our demolition drivers are extremely popular among the professional tradesmen who need tools that will take the abuse on the jobsite," states Jon Ginsberg, product manager at Klein Tools. "The addition of both the #2 Phillips and Punch-Scratch Awl addresses the feedback from the field that the pros want more models with the same tenacity".

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide - the ultimate solution for fast and easy installation of the rail-less RockIt racking system on composition shingle roofs. Smart Slide conforms to UL 441 and TAS 100 (A)-95 for wind and wind-driven rain, providing a super-strong watertight seal that is achieved through compression, in most cases without the need for additional sealant. The waterproofing sealant is embedded deep into the granules of the shingle, thanks to the integrated flexible foam layer that provides cushioning. This ensures a secure fit that conforms to any architectural-style shingle. With UltraGrip Technology™, you can rely on a secure installation, as it absorbs the movement created by thermal expansion and contraction. The pre-installed sealing pads are compatible with all composition shingle roofs, making it the ideal choice, even in ambient temperatures as low as 5 degrees.
