BIGFOOT comes to Michigan: a Huge Truck for a Great Show

BIGFOOT comes to Michigan

Michigan, August 29: EnerSys, world leader in industrial batteries, says it has some "powerful surprises" in store for visitors to The Battery Show 2014 in Novi, Michigan on September 16-18.

EnerSys will be hosting the ODYSSEY® Battery BIGFOOT #20 Monster Truck; the world's only all electric-powered monster truck. International Monster Truck Hall-of-Fame Honoree and Driver, Jim Kramer, will be on hand to sign autographs and to challenge visitors to remote-control monster-truck races.

Also on display at the EnerSys Booth, #B1504, will be:

*The latest Odyssey® batteries, chargers and accessories from EnerSys for cars, trucks, boats, power sports, fleet vehicles and generators;

*The full line of motive power batteries and chargers for use in electric forklift trucks and other commercial electric powered vehicles;

*The expanded line of OptiGrid™ Stored Energy Solutions for large-scale battery storage.

As a special treat, visitors are invited to join Jim Kramer and the EnerSys team after hours from 5.00pm on Tuesday, September 16 at the EnerSys exhibit for snacks and cocktails.

A fitting venue for BIGFOOT, The Battery Show / Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo has doubled in size since last year. Recognised as one of the USA's fastest growing shows of any industry, with more visitors viewing more exhibits over more floor-space year on year.

EnerSys manufactures stored energy solutions for industrial applications, and distributes reserve power and motive power batteries, battery chargers, power equipment, battery accessories and outdoor equipment enclosure solutions to customers throughout the world. The company is one of over 380 confirmed exhibitors at America's premier advanced battery and electric & hybrid vehicle event in September.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
