40% PARTICIPATION INCREASE AT ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE 2015
Three weeks before the start of Energy Storage Europe at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany, the event already exceeds expectations.
From March 9 – 11, 2015, more than 80 speakers will present their papers on business,
at the concurrently held trade show – and increase of 40% compared to last
year's participation. This confirms Energy Storage's status as the world's
largest conference and trade show for storage technologies.
This year, the conference and trade show have extended their range in
terms of content and quality. Several high-profile events on related
subjects will take place concurrently: the 9th International Renewable
Energy Storage Conference (IRES 2015), the 2nd VDE Financial Dialogue Europe
2015, the 4th OTTI-Conference Power-to-Gas and the 6th Storageday. At the
trade show, companies, institutes, associations and organizations will offer
their services and products. Among them will be leading companies such as
VARTA Storage, Bosch, Leclanché, E.ON, AEG, Siemens and Belectric. Over 15
institutes, including more than ten Fraunhofer Institutes, will present
their research results and consultant services.
Speakers will include experts from the New York University and the
California Energy Storage Alliance, Tesla Motors, BMW, Bloomberg and the US
Energy Storage Association. Representatives of the German Federal Network
Agency, the Federal Ministry of Economy, the EU commission and the BDEW will
present papers on new energy market designs and the role of politics.
"The expansion of Energy Storage confirms that a separate storage
conference and trade show is necessary. Those who want to keep up with the
fast-changing developments in the storage technology segment and markets
need extensive information about the status of science and research as well
as an overview of current products and political perspectives. We would like
to thank all partners for bringing together Energy Storage's highly
diversified range of subjects in one location. Without it, this unique event
would not have been possible," stated Hans Werner Reinhard, Managing
Director of Messe Düsseldorf.
