AWEA applauds California’s determination to further cut carbon pollution

SACRAMENTO, CA - California's decision today to cut its greenhouse gas emissions further, to 40 percent below 1990 levels by 2030, won praise from the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) as "a bold and necessary step."


Tom Darin, AWEA's Western State Policy Senior Director, cited California Gov. Jerry Brown and Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Leon's leadership on the state's decision:
