Solar SpeedRack Inc. announced today that its training course has been approved by The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). NABCEP was founded in 2002 as a non-profit 501 (c)(6) corporation with a mission "to support, and work with, the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries, professionals, and stakeholders to develop and implement quality credentialing and certification programs for practitioners."

"We view this approval as an important step forward," stated Shane Shamloo, President and CEO, "as installers who we train can become certified by NABCEP".
The training course last approximately one hour during which installers will receive "hands on" experience on SSRs shared rail systems and will be available at SSRs Santa Ana location and will also be presented at The Solar Mounting Training Conference (SOMO™) to be held in Las Vegas from August 16-18, 2015. The course will include instruction on SSRs SpeedMount™ residential sloped roof system along with its innovated SpeedFoot™ floating block which when used with the SpeedMount™ further reduces the number of roof penetrations and flashings required during installation.
"It is our belief that after only one hour of training an installer may become fully versed in our systems as compared with up to forty hours required for some of our competitors" added Mr. Shamloo.
In addition, the Company will host a four hour workshop at SOMO which will demonstrate the benefits of shared rail systems compared with other types of mounting systems. The Company has developed this workshop to educate installers on shared rail systems as there is little information currently available on these types of systems.
"You can readily find information an mid and end clamp and rail less systems online or in publications but virtually no information on shared rail systems", added Mr. Shamloo, "and once the ease of use and significant reductions in roof penetrations is understood, the industry will begin to acknowledge the superiority of shared rail systems."

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
