HULKet is presenting their latest product, a CIGS thin-film PV module that is flexible, foldable and portable. This new solar module, named Prometea, can be installed on any type of architectural structure, and its foldability and portability allows it to be transported anywhere regardless of difficult topography. A specialized fixed module installation eliminates the need for a mounting system, rooftop drilling and costly and invasive anchoring structure requirements.
ANAHEIM, California, September 15, 2015 - Hulk Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (HULKet) and ENERGYKA Electrosystem srl, Italy (ENERGYKA) today announced the worlds first flexible CIGS thin-film PV module distinguished by a convertible, modular assembly design. The Prometea solar modules were developed through a joint venture between HULKet and ENERGYKA and introduced to the U.S. market at Solar Power International 2015, on September 15-17, in HULKets booth 309.
Prometeas unique form factor eases logistical challenges, due to factors such as transportation requirements and difficult topography, enabling a wide range of installations wherever solar energy is needed. Prometea product features and benefits include:

The Prometea CIGS solar modules are the result of years of research and innovation and are created from CIGS solar cells with the highest conversion efficiency of 14 percent, resulting in a power output of 20 to 30 percent higher than traditional panels. The specific power generated is considerably higher due to the combination of superior spectral responses to UV and IR light, a lower temperature coefficient, less shading influence and an enhanced lower incident, scattered and diffuse light performance.
