Solar Frontier's CIS Modules Selected For 14 Megawatt Module Supply Agreement In The Midwestern US

Solar Frontier Continues To Expand US Footprint

Tokyo, October 7, 2015 - Solar Frontier, the worlds largest CIS solar energy solutions provider, announced today that it will supply its advanced solar module technology, CIS, for 2 solar energy projects located near Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S.A. Each of the solar power plants is 7 MW. Construction has already begun and both projects are expected to be completed before the end of 2015.

Solar Frontier signed the module supply agreement with a California-based solar developer, investor and long-term owner of solar energy facilities.

The projects will be constructed by Vaughn Industries, a highly-skilled, full service electrical/mechanical contractor which has been in business for over 50 years. The company serves 5 divisions: renewable energy, electrical commercial/industrial, mechanical commercial/industrial, high voltage substations, and high voltage transmission and distribution.

Charles Pimentel, COO of Solar Frontier Americas, commented, "Vaughn Industries is dedicated to delivering the highest-level of quality to their clients and Solar Frontier is pleased to be selected for projects that mirror our own standards."

"We are anticipating higher energy production and respective lower LCOE on these projects than conventional solar modules through the installation of Solar Frontiers CIS technology," said Tim Vaughn, CEO of Vaughn Industries, LLC.

A world leader in manufacturing excellence, Solar Frontiers advanced CIS modules are a proven technology that generates higher energy yield (kilowatt-hours per kilowatt peak) in real-world environments than crystalline silicon technologies. The modules are manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities, fully automated for manufacturing precision and a consistently high level of quality. Solar Frontiers projects have increasingly gained the attention of investors and project developers for their exceptional performance.
