Dr. Kurz, who earned a Ph.D in Atmospheric Physics at Munich University and served as a researcher at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), is a renown expert in the parameterization of clouds and cloud-irradiation interactions.Since 2007 Dr. Kurz has been responsible for the development of Renewable Energies power forecasts for grid operators and trading companies at meteocontrol GmbH in Augsburg, Germany. He is recognized as one of the leading experts in the world on weather analytics and energy forecasting.
