The 2016 programme outline continues the successful format from previous years. EU PVSEC provides a unique platform to present new R&D results and analysis, while also encouraging active participation of industry experts, analysts, media and policy makers.

The EU PVSEC 2016 Conference Topics are:
New Materials and Concepts for Solar Cells and Modules
Wafer-Based Silicon Solar Cell and Materials Technology
Thin Film Solar Cells and Modules
Concentrator and Space Applications
Operation, Performance, Reliability and Sustainability of Photovoltaics
PV Applications and Integration
PV Economics, Markets and Policies

EU PVSEC Background
EU PVSEC takes place at different venues in Europe since 1977. It is the worlds largest Conference in the field of photovoltaics and uniquely combines scientific, technological, industrial and application-related issues from the perspective of research and development, industry and politics. 6,500 authors and co-authors from 86 countries submitted abstracts in 2015. 200 international experts reviewed the suggested contributions. With more than 1,300 keynote, plenary, oral and visual presentations from 79 countries, and presentations in several workshops, expert panels and specific industry fora, the EU PVSEC counts as the most outstanding PV science-to-science and science-to-industry platform. The EU PVSEC conference program is coordinated by the European Commission, DG Joint Research Centre.

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide - the ultimate solution for fast and easy installation of the rail-less RockIt racking system on composition shingle roofs. Smart Slide conforms to UL 441 and TAS 100 (A)-95 for wind and wind-driven rain, providing a super-strong watertight seal that is achieved through compression, in most cases without the need for additional sealant. The waterproofing sealant is embedded deep into the granules of the shingle, thanks to the integrated flexible foam layer that provides cushioning. This ensures a secure fit that conforms to any architectural-style shingle. With UltraGrip Technology™, you can rely on a secure installation, as it absorbs the movement created by thermal expansion and contraction. The pre-installed sealing pads are compatible with all composition shingle roofs, making it the ideal choice, even in ambient temperatures as low as 5 degrees.
