Turboden to launch Steam & Power ORC, a new ORC Cogeneration System for manufacturing processes, designed for steam and power production

Turboden launches a new technological solution together with Bono Sistemi, technical partner of the project. The Steam & Power (ST&P) ORC system allows the production of electricity and a valuable high temperature heat carrier, such as steam, directly exploitable in manufacturing processes. The launch will take place at Power Gen Europe, at Fiera Milano City - Milan on June 21st and 22nd: in Suite 7 (Mezzanine level, South Wing) and each day there will be three presentation sections at 11 am, 2 pm and 4 pm.

Brescia, June 14th, 2016 - Turboden launches a new technological solution together with Bono Sistemi, technical partner of the project: Steam & Power (ST&P) ORC system, which allows the production of electricity and a valuable high temperature heat carrier, such as steam, directly exploitable in manufacturing processes.

The launch will take place at Power Gen Europe, at Fiera Milano City - Milan on June 21st and 22nd: in Suite 7 (Mezzanine level, South Wing) each day there will be three presentation sections at 11 am, 2 pm and 4 pm.

Turboden is a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, leader in Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology for distributed power generation from renewable sources and waste heat.
Bono Sistemi, part of Cannon Group, is worldwide leader in production of industrial boilers for standard and special applications.

The innovative principle of Steam & Power ORC is the temperature level of the cycle, allowing the cogeneration of electricity and medium pressure steam with a very high overall energy efficiency.
Effective CHP systems satisfy directly the thermal requirement of the manufacturing process minimizing energy losses. Many manufacturing processes require thermal energy in the form of steam, with different pressure levels depending on the application, such as: Food & Beverage, Chemical & Pharmaceutical, Paper & Wood industry, Textile, Plastic & Rubber, Oil & Gas, Wood pellet.
Steam & Power ORC will be the new, sustainable, efficient, complete and economically profitable solution conceived to satisfy these manufacturing processes requiring relevant amount of medium pressure steam.

Turboden, a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries company, is an Italian company and a global leader in the design, manufacture, and after-sales of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) turbogenerators, which harness heat to generate electric and thermal power from renewable sources, including biomass, geothermal and solar energy and waste heat from industrial processes, waste incinerators, engines or gas turbines. Turboden has more than 320 plants in 33 countries and offers ORC modules from 200 kW up to 40 MW electric per single generator. www.turboden.com
