WASHINGTON, D.C. - Following today's release of Going Solar: Tips and Considerations for Homeowners by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, Tom Kimbis, interim president of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) released the following statement:

"The New York State Attorney General offices release of tips and considerations for homeowners thinking of going solar is a nice complement to SEIA's extensive set of consumer protection resources. We are pleased to see that Attorney General Schneiderman has put out thoughtful guidance for homeowners so that they can make informed decisions to invest in solar energy. The need for a well-educated consumer is a message that we have been carrying across the country in a very vocal way. This is particularly important given the massive growth of solar taking place in the United States. From our business code of ethics, to our consumer buyers guide, to standardized disclosure forms, SEIA has produced some of the most carefully considered and advanced consumer protections in the country and we are pleased to see that New York and other states have taken similarly constructive steps to educate consumers."

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
