Intersolar - Aurora crosses the 250,000 project mark

Aurora's software is being used to design over 6,000 projects a week

PALO ALTO, Calif., July 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Since launching in early 2015, Aurora has been used by solar installers in the US and internationally to design and quote over 250,000 residential and commercial solar projects. Aurora provides a one-stop solution for solar professionals. All that is required is an address and a bill to generate a full system design and financial analysis. Aurora also generates bankable Shade Reports, customizable proposals and engineering documents, such as single line diagrams.

What is next?
"Aurora's objective has always been to allow solar professionals to perfectly design and sell solar from anywhere, for anywhere in the world, without leaving their office" says Aurora co-founder, Samuel Adeyemo. Christopher Hopper, Aurora co-founder, adds: "Bankable Shade Reports, LIDAR, integrated financial and engineering analysis are just the start. We have a team of top scientists and engineers who are working on lowering soft costs in the industry. We are particularly excited about features we will be releasing in Q4 that will greatly reduce truck roll."

Aurora will be giving live demonstrations and answering questions at booth 7351 at Intersolar San Francisco. Additionally Aurora has regularly scheduled small group demonstrations accessible via www.aurorasolar.com.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
