SANTA CRUZ, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Blume Distillation LLC, the leading provider of appropriate-scale Biorefinery-based waste-to-profit production equipment, announced today its participation in two key alternative energy events being held the week of August 15th in San Diego, Ca.

On Monday, August 15th, Regenerative Ag expert David Blume and his team join Eric Ellestad - (Local Roots Farms Founder), Larry Kammerer and Bryan Powell - (Moss Adams LLP Partners), and Senior Managers from Agribody Technologies, Inc., GroGuru, Inc. and Symbiotic Systems at the San Diego AgTech forum. Hosted by Royse Law Firm founder Roger Royse, the San Diego AgTech Conference brings together business innovators, educators, government officials, business prospects, and prospective investors, who are collectively building the future of Agriculture Technology. The Forum provides an evening of edutainment, networking, panel discussions, and AgTech Innovation presentations.

The Forum is open to the public and provides business insights, solution benefits and investment opportunities in AgTech for commercial farming and alternative energy production. The event runs from 5:30pm - 8:30pm, Monday, August 15th at Marina Village, 1936 Quivira Way, San Diego, CA 92109. Admission details are available at the following link: http://bit.ly/815SDATC.

On Tuesday, August 16th, The Waste Conversion Technology Conference will feature Waste to Profits expert, David Blume, in its Converting Organic Waste to Fuels talk, taking place at 1:15pm in the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay, Mission Ballroom. Blume Distillation will be exhibiting at the Conference and David Blume will be joining biomass utilization and anaerobic digester experts to discuss advances in waste process management.

According to Blume, "There are a number of factors, including climate change conditions and sagging Ag profits, that are drawing global attention to the need for improving and optimizing methods and solutions for transforming agricultural surpluses and waste into high-use and better return products. The focus of my talk is to encourage businesses, governmental agencies and commercial Ag producers to improve the use of food wastes, including materials rich in carbohydrates, starch and sugar."

Blume continued, "We are sharing ways we can profitably and efficiently convert these underused waste resources into new profit opportunities. We have the ability to produce high-return alcohol-based end and co-products including soil amendments and liquid replacement fuels from locally available Ag waste resources. If we have one clear message today it is that there is too much waste in our world, a shortage of low-cost clean and renewable energy and an urgent need to reduce our carbon footprint as soon as possible. We can make that transformation possible today."

Alcohol fuel (bioethanol) helps satisfy the growing worldwide energy demand while helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and is becoming a core resource under review by governmental and private enterprise interests globally. Blume Distillation is engaged in a number of waste-to-fuel projects in the US, Canada, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa and other emerging markets. Blume designs solutions for projects that require appropriate-scale biological waste remediation. Using proprietary technology and proven processes, Blume is able to convert waste resources such as simple sugar, into renewable, pollution-free alcohol fuel, organic fertilizers and high-protein animal feed.
