Doors open tomorrow to the 5th Intersolar South America at Expocenter Norte

São Paulo, August 22, 2016: Visitors from more than 33 countries have already registered to this years Intersolar South America. They will meet 176 exhibitors from 12 countries - a year-on-year rise of 60%. The exhibition area has also been expanded by 100%. The show offers a treasure trove of exhibitors from Photovoltaic and Solar Thermal manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers, developers, systems integrator and research agencies.

"We see Intersolar South America as a must-attend event. Its the ideal location to meet key players face-to-face and forge links to potential partners. Obviously, were banking on many others being there and look forward to meeting as many visitors as possible.", states Denise Ronco of the Renewable & Clean Energy Division at THESAN, one of 176 exhibitors waiting for the big show opening on August 23 at the Expocenter Norte.

10,000 visitors are expected to network at the exhibition. Admission is free and the doors will be open until August 25. The exhibition will be accompanied by a three-day conference aimed at installation technicians, distributors, developers, investors, utility companies and policy makers. Beside the focus on photovoltaics, the conference will also address solar heating, with its partner DASOL-ABRAVA. A variety of leading Brazilian and international experts will talk at the event in a series of debates on current funding options for solar technology, not only in Brazil but also in other Latin American countries. Other important topics that will be covered include funding, business models, best practice, policies and technology options. As in the past, there will also be special workshops for installation technicians, engineers and masters students.
