Intersolar South America: São Paulo Solar Energy Exhibition Breaks Record

Doors open tomorrow to the 5th Intersolar South America at Expocenter Norte

São Paulo, August 22, 2016: Visitors from more than 33 countries have already registered to this year's Intersolar South America. They will meet 176 exhibitors from 12 countries - a year-on-year rise of 60%. The exhibition area has also been expanded by 100%. The show offers a treasure trove of exhibitors from Photovoltaic and Solar Thermal manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers, developers, systems integrator and research agencies.

"We see Intersolar South America as a must-attend event. It's the ideal location to meet key players face-to-face and forge links to potential partners. Obviously, we're banking on many others being there and look forward to meeting as many visitors as possible.", states Denise Ronco of the Renewable & Clean Energy Division at THESAN, one of 176 exhibitors waiting for the big show opening on August 23 at the Expocenter Norte.

10,000 visitors are expected to network at the exhibition. Admission is free and the doors will be open until August 25. The exhibition will be accompanied by a three-day conference aimed at installation technicians, distributors, developers, investors, utility companies and policy makers. Beside the focus on photovoltaics, the conference will also address solar heating, with its partner DASOL-ABRAVA. A variety of leading Brazilian and international experts will talk at the event in a series of debates on current funding options for solar technology, not only in Brazil but also in other Latin American countries. Other important topics that will be covered include funding, business models, best practice, policies and technology options. As in the past, there will also be special workshops for installation technicians, engineers and master's students.

SolarEdge Technologies - EV Charging Single Phase Inverter

The SolarEdge PV inverter combines sophisticated digital control technology with efficient power SolarEdge's EV charging single phase inverter offers homeowners the ability to charge electric vehicles up to six times faster than a standard Level 1 charger through an innovative solar boost mode that utilizes grid and PV charging simultaneously. This product is the world's first EV charger with an integrated PV inverter. Reducing the hassle of installing separately a standalone EV charger and a PV inverter, the EV charging inverter eliminates the need for additional wiring, conduit and a breaker installation. By installing an EV charger that is integrated with an inverter, no additional dedicated circuit breaker is needed, saving space and ruling out a potential upgrade to the main distribution panel. Whether you own an EV now or just want to be EV-ready, future-proof your home with SolarEdge.
