Concentrating Solar Power Now Available for Homes and Businesses

SANTA FE, NM - December 27, 2016 - Jetstream Energy Technologies, Inc., announces the release of the NewGen® Solar Electric Generation System. NewGen® is the first and only concentrating solar power system suitable for both residential and commercial use. Utilizing world record-holding solar technology tested by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, NewGen® operates at 44.8% efficiency as compared to PV solar panel cell efficiencies rated between 17 and 22%.

The global introduction of NewGen® will be at the upcoming 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, January 5-8, 2017. Jetstream Management will attend CES and be available at the Sands Hotel, Level 2, Exhibit Booth #41372.

Significantly less space is required than that for traditional PV panels, lessening negative environmental and visual impact. The system is not only scalable, but also expandable with upgradable power modules, believed to be a first in the industry. Systems can be assembled by the do-it-yourself consumer or professional installer. NewGen® requires no roof penetrations thereby minimizing roof maintenance and installation problems. A qualified electrician should always make the final connections to assure a safe installation. NewGen® can even be easily moved should a home or business owner choose to relocate.
