From humble beginnings in Californias windy mountain passes, wind power charted a rapid rise to become Americas leading source of renewable energy capacity in 2017, supporting over 100,000 American workers.

Californias wind power leadership continues today. Senate President Pro Tempore Kevin de León, the California Senates most powerful member and legislative champion of the states hallmark 50 percent renewable energy standard law, will provide the keynote address as the conference kicks off on the morning of Tuesday, May 23.
WINDPOWER brings together wind turbine technicians - Americas fastest growing career - business leaders, farmers and ranchers, students, and many others from around the U.S. and the world. Attendees will see technology demonstrations, discover emerging trends, and make deals to shape the coming year.
