North America's Most Comprehensive Fuel Cell Forum Set to Power Up in Long Beach

The 2017 Fuel Cell Seminar and Energy Exposition takes place November 7-9 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.

When the doors to the Long Beach Convention Center open on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, Fuel Cell Seminar &Energy Exposition (FCS&EE) attendees will find the widest array of fuel cell and hydrogen companies, customers, component and service suppliers, and analysts under one roof in North America this year.


For three exciting days, the fuel cell and hydrogen industry will highlight its considerable progress to date, and through demonstrations, shared best practices, technical discussions and exhibits, will show the world how a more efficient, sustainable energy pathway is be being created right now through fuel cell and hydrogen technologies.

"This years FCS&EE will showcase the dynamic strength of our industry today, and the many opportunities it is creating for tomorrow," said Jennifer Gangi, FCS&EE spokesperson. The list of speakers, exhibitors and sponsors reads like the Whos Who for the global fuel cell economy, with a strong focus on how the U.S. is helping lead the charge. The Seminar kicks off with a Tuesday afternoon mini-symposium on wide-scale hydrogen production and utilization to enable resiliency of the power generation and transmission sectors, hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy.

Wednesday and Thursday morning plenary sessions include industry leaders Toyota, Honda, Air Liquide, Linde and Plug Power; customer and future market perspectives from the Edison Electric Institute, Caltech and Southern Company; and insight from the nations top fuel cell official, the U.S. Department of Energys Acting Assistant Secretary for the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Daniel Simmons.

In addition, policy experts from the American Gas Association, the National Council of State Legislators, the National Association of State Energy Officials as well as top state officials from California, Connecticut and Massachusetts will share their views on the growth of Americas hydrogen infrastructure and fuel cell deployment and provide a public policy overview and outlook for the Seminars attendees.
