Natural Power at RUK Onshore Asset Management 2017

Natural Power's Richard Walls, Chief Operations Director, and Iain Dinwoodie, Senior Asset Performance Engineer, will be speaking at this year's RenewableUK Onshore Asset Management conference and exhibition on Wednesday 15th November 2017 at SEC Glasgow.

This inaugural one-day event, sponsored by WEBS (Wind Energy Benchmarking Services), will consist of a full day of industry-related debates and sessions along with a table-top exhibition. It brings together asset owners and managers; O&M, legal, finance, and insurance specialists; investors; energy storage companies, and external sector experts to discuss ways to maximise the yield and market performance of the UKs 13GW onshore wind asset base.

Attendees will benefit from the opportunity to meet key players, learn about current progress, hear insight into future trends and opportunities, and fast track their learning on cost reduction so that it can be applied to new wind energy schemes.

With older onshore wind schemes now starting to come out of their warranty contracts, the conference includes detailed content on improving O&M and management regimes; and how asset owners are beginning to think through life extensions, re-contracting, repowering and refinancing to help improve long term performance.

Attendees will also learn how new technologies like digitisation, smarter data use and co-located storage can be adopted by owners to increase the performance and income of wind farm assets.

Richard Walls will be presenting as part of the opening session at 09.30hrs, and Iain will speak as part of session A2, Operations and Management: Reducing costs through digitisation, where he is jointly presenting with Andy Lewin from WEBS, at 11.15hrs.
